You know what really surprised me about the 2 Bedroom Apartment near Glasgow City Centre, Celtic Park and Emirates Arena? It’s actually way more comfortable than I expected for what’s essentially a residential spot on Springfield Road. I mean, when you first roll up to the East End area, it doesn’t scream “tourist destination,” but honestly, that’s kind of the beauty of it – you’re staying where real Glaswegians live and work.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than some sterile hotel room, which I really appreciated after a long day exploring Glasgow. The two bedrooms are properly sized (not those cramped affairs you sometimes get), and there’s enough space in the living area to actually spread out with your travel gear. What I loved most was how quiet it gets at night – Springfield Road can have a bit of traffic during the day, but it settles right down after dinner time. The kitchen‘s got everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the nearby shops instead of eating out every meal, which honestly saved me quite a bit of money during my week there.

Location-wise, this place is sort of perfectly positioned if you’re planning to catch a Celtic match or any events at the Emirates Arena – you can literally walk to both, though I’d still recommend taking a taxi back from Celtic Park after an evening game because the streets get pretty packed with celebrating fans. Getting into the city centre takes about 15-20 minutes by bus, and there’s a decent service running regularly during the day. I actually ended up walking into town a couple times when the weather was nice, which gave me a real feel for how the different neighborhoods connect. The area has that authentic Glasgow character – working-class, friendly, with proper local pubs where you’ll hear genuine accents and maybe catch some live music if you’re lucky. Just don’t expect fancy cocktail bars on every corner, because that’s not what this part of town is about. With a 9.2 rating, other guests clearly appreciate the straightforward comfort and honest value this place offers, and I can see why – sometimes you just want a proper base to explore from without all the tourist markup.

  Neat, clean and nicely decorated apartment. It looks exactly like in the pictures. The apartment has everything you need, kitchen fully equipped with all necessary devices, tv in the living room, 2 bathrooms with clean towels, shampoo, shower gel..Wifi works perfectly.

  Would be nice if there was a broom so you can sweep after a few days.
