The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Glasgow like a local rather than just another tourist checking boxes. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Kelvingrove Park – and I mean a proper leisurely stroll, not one of those “five minutes if you sprint” situations. The apartment sits in this lovely residential stretch where you’ll hear actual Glaswegians going about their daily lives, not just tour groups tramping past your window. What really struck me was how quiet Dunaskin Street actually is, especially considering you’re so close to everything. You get these lovely tree-lined views, and honestly, it feels more like staying in a neighborhood than in some generic accommodation district.

The spacious part of the name isn’t just marketing fluff either – the place genuinely has room to breathe. I’ve stayed in plenty of UK apartments where you’re practically eating breakfast in the same spot you sleep, but this one actually has distinct areas where you can spread out. The parking space deserves its own mention because, let me tell you, trying to park around the University area can be an absolute nightmare, especially during term time. Having your own guaranteed spot is worth its weight in gold. The whole setup feels properly lived-in rather than sterile – there are those small touches that make you feel like you’re borrowing someone’s actual home rather than occupying a rental unit. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to grab some bits from the local shops (there’s a brilliant little place just down the road), and the living area is perfect for those evenings when you want to decompress after walking around the city all day. Being so close to the University means you’re surrounded by great little cafes and pubs that most visitors never discover, plus you can easily walk to Ashton Lane for dinner without dealing with taxis or public transport. It’s one of those stays where you actually start to imagine what living in Glasgow might be like – which, for a 3-star place with a 9 rating, is exactly what you want.

  Location is great, in cool West End area. Couple of minutes from Subway (Glasgow Underground) making it very easy to get around if you’re not driving. Apartment is really spacious, everything exceptionally clean, great kitchen with everything you need for a few days away. It was perfect for our needs.
  
  What could be improved: There was nothing I didn’t like. The apartment is a little warn in places (like main bathroom) but this genuinely doesn’t detract from what a great apartment this is. When I arrived the bathrooms were freshly bleached, spotless 👍
