The two bedrooms are genuinely comfortable (not just marketing comfortable), and I actually slept better here than I have in some fancier hotels. The main bedroom has this surprisingly good mattress – you know how rental properties usually have those terrible saggy ones? Not here. The second bedroom works perfectly if you’re traveling with kids or friends who don’t mind a slightly smaller space. What I really appreciated was how everything just… worked. The wifi didn’t cut out during video calls, the shower had actual water pressure, and there were enough outlets near the beds (small thing, but you know how annoying it is when there aren’t any).

The kitchen situation is pretty solid too – they’ve got real dishes, not just paper plates, and the coffee maker actually makes decent coffee. I ended up cooking breakfast a couple mornings because, honestly, it felt more relaxing than rushing out to find a café. The living area has this lived-in feel that’s way more comfortable than those sterile vacation rentals where you’re afraid to touch anything. Sure, it’s not going to win any design awards – the furniture is more “functional family home” than “Instagram-worthy” – but that’s actually part of why it works. You can sprawl on the couch with your laptop without worrying about messing up some perfectly arranged throw pillows. The parking thing they advertise is legit, by the way – there’s a proper driveway spot, not some sketchy street situation where you’re circling blocks looking for a space. Little details like that make a difference when you’re tired from traveling and just want to get inside and decompress.

  The house is in a very quiet location and the bedrooms are nice and large. It offers everything for a short stay and you can easily get into town by bus.

  While very basic in its decor and layout, it had everything we needed for a short stay. The smart TV worked well and Netflix streamed without hiccups. Wifi extended the whole house. Plenty of EE signal. Parking out front or around the corner. And the owner was helpful on the phone when I was rubbish at finding the code to enter the house 🙂
