Here’s the thing about this location — you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to food and drink. There’s this fantastic little restaurant called Singl-end just down the road that does incredible coffee and brunch (trust me on this one). The staff at Ashton View actually know the area well and can point you toward hidden gems that most tourists never find. I spent one evening just pub-hopping along Byres Road and Ashton Lane — it felt like a proper Glasgow experience.
