1Bd Glasgow Apartment Overview
You know what really caught me off guard about the 1Bd Glasgow Apartment? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be fancy, but somehow gets everything right in a way that makes you want to stay longer than planned. I mean, when you’re booking a 3-star spot in Glasgow, you’re not exactly expecting luxury – but this place has this comfortable, lived-in feel that honestly beats a lot of those sterile hotel rooms I’ve stayed in.
The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there (in the best possible way), not like it was designed by a committee. The bedroom’s got proper blackout curtains – and trust me, if you’re trying to sleep off jet lag or recover from a night exploring Glasgow’s legendary pub scene, you’ll appreciate that. The kitchen‘s small but functional, which is perfect because let’s be real, sometimes you just want to make a proper cup of tea without having to figure out some weird hotel coffee machine. I actually ended up cooking a few meals there because there’s a decent Tesco just a short walk away, and after eating out constantly, it was nice to have that option.
What I really liked was how quiet it gets at night – Glasgow can be pretty lively, but this spot manages to feel tucked away without being isolated from everything. The rating of 8.0 makes total sense to me because while it’s not going to blow your mind with amenities or Instagram-worthy interiors, it delivers exactly what you need. The shower has good pressure (always a gamble in older buildings), the heating actually works properly, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. Plus, the check-in process was straightforward – none of that awkward fumbling around trying to find key lockboxes in the dark. Honestly, for the price point and the fact that you get a whole apartment to yourself rather than just a hotel room, it’s pretty solid value. It’s the kind of place where you’ll sleep well, feel comfortable, and not waste time worrying about your accommodation because you’ll be too busy exploring what Glasgow has to offer.

The apartment was located in a convenient location with a short walk to groceries stores, restaurants, bus stop and train station. A Taxi wait area was also conveniently located near to the apartment. The apartment was clean, with working appliances and had all you need for your stay.

The apartment itself was lovely, in a great area and also well decorated , unfortunately the property did smell of smoke on arrival. There was dirty dinner plates with labels and old food stuck underneath them. Although the place was clean at first glance after removing my shoes my socks ended up very dirty quickly from the floors/rugs. We where there for a special occasion and where repeatedly banged at threw the wall on a Saturday at 2pm. When going to bed.. sitting or laying on the bed, without fail the bed slabs would fall threw and create a very loud bang. Good stay in general.
