I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Beautiful 3 bed apt in the City Centre, I wasn’t expecting much from the name alone. But this place on Hill Street genuinely surprised me, and I mean that in the best way possible. The location is actually brilliant if you know Glasgow at all – you’re literally a three-minute walk from Sauchiehall Street, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the weekend chaos and street noise that comes with being right in the thick of things.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there, you know? Not in a messy way, but in that comfortable “real home” way that so many places try to fake. The three bedrooms are properly sized – I’ve stayed in too many Glasgow flats where they call a closet a bedroom, but these actually fit proper beds and have space to move around. The kitchen honestly impressed me most; it’s got everything you’d actually need if you’re planning to cook (which, let’s face it, saves a fortune when you’re traveling). The living area has these big windows that let in loads of natural light, and on a clear day you can catch glimpses of the city sprawling out toward the west end. The whole place has been done up recently but without that sterile, show-home feeling that makes you afraid to touch anything.

What really sold me on this spot was how easy everything was from here. You can walk to Central Station in about eight minutes – I timed it because I’m obsessive like that – which means you’re sorted for day trips to Edinburgh or down south. The Merchant City is right there for proper restaurants and bars, and if you’re into your shopping, you’ve got Buchanan Street practically on your doorstep. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare around Hill Street during the day (welcome to Glasgow city centre), but honestly, you don’t really need a car from this location anyway. The flat rates an 8.3, which feels about right – it’s not luxury, but it’s genuinely comfortable and well thought out. I stayed here during a particularly wet October week, and even with typical Scottish weather, the place felt bright and welcoming. The heating actually works properly too, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places get that wrong. If you’re traveling with family or a group of friends and want somewhere that feels like home base rather than just a place to sleep, this apartment delivers without any of the pretentious nonsense you sometimes get with city centre stays.

  Spacious apartment in good location. Close to the subway or a short walk into town. Toiletries, tea and coffee provided, which was a nice touch. Children's park across the road, which was handy to take the grandchildren to. Well equipped for self catering needs. Host responded quickly to small issue with the shower. A good place to relax at the end of busy days in Glasgow. Thankyou.
  
  What could be improved: Only two glass tumblers provided even though the flat accommodates 6. Had to drink juice from a mug. No kitchen scissors or bread knife. These are only small negatives but could be easily remedied.

  What could be improved: The hallway and courtyard leading to the apartment was quite shabby and gave a bad impression of your lovely apartment. Also the door going into apartment didn’t feel very secure or safe.

  It was a good location and easy to get to various parts of the city and close to shops. The flat was spacious and well set out. It was good to have lighting on the stairs to get to the flat. The host was very helpful and communicated well. All the bedrooms were of a large size with plenty of space for luggage, clothes etc. I liked the bedside lights which could also be used for charging phones etc. There was a hairdryer provided. The bathroom was well appointed with shampoo, shower gel provided. The apartment was very comfortable and a good temperature.
  
  What could be improved: Only having one set of keys and using the key lock box is a problem when there are 3 of you staying and going to different things. This meant if you were first back, you had to open the front door, go up to the flat and open it and then go back to put the keys in the box for the next person which was was not great late at night.
  
  I couldn't get the tv to work despite instructions from the host.

  The property location is very convenience to Glasgow exploration. It is a short walk from Queen St train station and bus terminal. The property is very spacious. Kitchen is modern. The host is wonderful and responsive.

  The building entrance hall is old and looks shabby.

  Contactability of the host, sent all the instructions with a description of how to get from the airport by various means of transport, asked if everything is ok and if we need anything extra in the apartment. The apartment is properly equipped. The kitchen is everything you need to cook something. Super restaurants literally a minute away. Grocery stores 2 minutes.
