Beautiful Flat with Panoramic Views over the City Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Beautiful Flat with Panoramic Views over the City? The name actually undersells it. I mean, sure, it’s technically a flat – this whole place operates more like a boutique guesthouse without the official star rating nonsense – but walking into that living space and seeing Glasgow spread out below you through those floor-to-ceiling windows… honestly, it took me a minute to process it all.
The location in Central Glasgow is pretty much perfect if you ask me. You’re close enough to hear the city humming below (though it’s not disruptive at night – the double glazing actually works), and you can walk to pretty much anywhere you’d want to go. I spent a good chunk of my first evening just standing at those windows watching the light change over the city. The Clyde snakes through the view, and on clear days you can make out the hills beyond the urban sprawl. It’s the kind of view that makes you pause whatever you’re doing and just… look, you know?
What I really appreciated was how the owners – and you can tell there are actual people behind this place, not some corporate chain – have set it up like someone’s stylish city home rather than a generic hotel room. The kitchen is fully equipped (I’m talking proper coffee maker, not those pod things), which came in handy since I’m particular about my morning routine. There’s this lived-in quality to the furnishings that somehow manages to be both comfortable and sophisticated. The bathroom’s compact but well thought out, and the shower pressure is actually decent – something I’ve learned not to take for granted in older Glasgow buildings.
Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this area, so I’d suggest asking about options when you book. The 8.2 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be a five-star palace, but it delivers exactly what it promises with some genuine charm thrown in. I found myself spending way more time in the flat than I’d planned, partly because it was so comfortable, but mostly because that view kept drawing me back to the windows. There’s something about seeing a city from above that makes you feel both connected to it and peacefully removed from the street-level chaos.

Reviews of Beautiful Flat with Panoramic Views over the City
Appreciates the flexibility of the early check in – Anna from Canada – August 29, 2025 (7/10)
Clean and well maintained
What could be improved: Very plain. Not much attempt has been made to make it feel homeyLovely place! – Georgina from United Kingdom – November 21, 2024 (9/10)
Wonderful accommodation. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of cooking implements. Lovely living area and sofa. We had the shower head holder break during our stay and it was replaced within a couple of days. Communication was good. Spent a great week here.
What could be improved: We had only one bin bag provided, and when we requested more, they only provided a single additional bin bag. When we checked out someone came to pick up our second set of keys without forewarning. I had to hand the keys over on good faith.Wonderful – Khaled from Ireland – June 15, 2024 (9/10)
The view of the main window.
The kitchen is very nice.
What could be improved: They didn't send me the guidelines of how to get into the falt until I contacted them after waiting by the building.Lovely accommodation, very clean and central location. – Eileen from United Kingdom – July 11, 2023 (9/10)
Centrally located, when you got your bearings. Great information beforehand on how to operate equipment etc but would have also liked some maps or infotainment about things to do in the area.
What could be improved: No local information.Clean, decent, well equipped – Ana-maria from Romania – June 18, 2025 (8/10)
Location is in between the city center(18 min walk) and SEC(30 min walk), in the building right next to the Tenement house.
The apartment is a little bit old, but clean and had everything you need, towels, kitchen well equipped, hand wash and shower gel.
Communication was very good, they released quickly the deposit hold and returned the early check in fee, as the request couldn't be fulfilled.
What could be improved: They forgot to send me the message with the key locker code, but responded on the phone.
The noise from M8 which is right next to the building. It's a nice appartment, but I would rather book a hotel – Arya from France – August 30, 2023 (7/10)
Bright living room. Location is nice, 10min from center.
What could be improved: Constant noise with traffic, you can't really open the windows. Checkout is early, 10, for a very late check-in : 4.
Sofa cannot be open. TV remote control has tape to prevent battery from falling and doesn't work.
They asked me to clean the appartment (dishes, trash, etc)Wonderful – James from United Kingdom – April 28, 2023 (9/10)
completely suitable for my requirements.
What could be improved: nothing I didn’t like but a couple of extra utensils would be handy eg a cheese grater, a teapot and more than one teaspoon.Lovely flat to let – William from United Kingdom – August 14, 2024 (10/10)
Very clean and local to ammenities
Comfortable, spacious apartment with a great view of urban Glasgow – Miriam from Australia – October 22, 2023 (10/10)
Spacious and comfortable apartment, great urban view from balcony and main windows. We found the location suited us, not far to walk to conveniences, attractions or transport but also not in a busy area, so quiet and relaxing. Close to a historic Tenement building which was a bonus. Keith was a great host, with friendly and clear communication. The kitchen facilities, comfy lounge room set up and washing machine were really appreciated. We enjoyed our stay.
What could be improved: Nothing really although perhaps a second bedside table in the bedroom would have been nice.Apartment overlooks Highway – Brad from United States – August 22, 2023 (5/10)
Beautiful apartment clean with a great TV and Netflix
What could be improved: The apartment overlooks the highway it was noisy the kitchen had no cooking utensils the bed was small and creaky
