The apartment really is smack dab in the center of everything, which means you can literally walk to most places you’d want to visit. I mean, I barely used rideshare during my stay because everything felt so accessible on foot. The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense European feel – you know, the kind where the walls are actually thick enough that you don’t hear every conversation from neighboring units. Speaking of which, I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it stayed at night, even being so centrally located. Sure, you’ll get some street noise during the day, but honestly, that’s just the sound of a city that’s actually alive and worth exploring.

What really sold me on the place was how it felt like staying in someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room. The two bedrooms are genuinely spacious – not that fake “spacious” you see in listings where they’ve used a fisheye lens to make a closet look like a ballroom. The kitchen came stocked with proper cookware (you know how rare that is?), which was perfect since there’s a fantastic little market just around the corner where I picked up fresh ingredients a couple of times. The living area has this comfortable, lived-in quality that made me want to actually hang out there in the evenings instead of just collapsing into bed. And here’s a small thing that matters more than you’d think – the WiFi actually worked well throughout the entire apartment, even in the back bedroom. I’ve stayed in plenty of places where you have to practically sit on top of the router to get a decent connection.

The location really can’t be overstated though. I found myself discovering new cafes and shops just by wandering in different directions each day. There’s this great little bakery about two blocks away that locals clearly frequent – you can tell because there’s always a queue of people chatting in the local language rather than tourists studying their phones. The whole neighborhood has that perfect balance where it’s lively enough to feel exciting but residential enough that you’re not dodging tour groups every time you step outside. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving (honestly, I’d recommend just taking public transport or flying in), but for most travelers, that won’t be an issue. The 9.1 rating makes complete sense to me – this isn’t luxury accommodation, but it’s exactly what most people actually need: clean, comfortable, well-located, and reasonably priced for what you get.

  Excellent communication and service throughout our stay. Step by step details to pick up the key made it really easy. Flat was fully equipped and in a great, central location, near the main stations, hop-on, hop-off bus etc. I would stay there again. The host was super responsive and kind.
