I mean, there’s a bit of street noise in the mornings, but nothing that decent curtains and the general hum of city life don’t handle. The 8.2 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places that just gets the basics really right.

What I loved most was how genuinely residential the area feels. You’ve got proper local pubs within walking distance (not tourist traps), and you’re close enough to the city center that you can easily walk or hop on public transport when you want the full Glasgow experience. The West End has this slightly artsy, university town atmosphere that feels authentic – you’ll see actual Glaswegians going about their daily business, not just clusters of tourists with cameras. Parking can be a bit of a dance if you’re driving, but that’s pretty standard for this part of the city. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no unnecessary fuss or overly complicated key systems. It’s the kind of place where you can actually settle in and feel like you’re experiencing Glasgow as more than just a visitor passing through.

    Communication was good although we had a slight misunderstanding when we added an extra night but this was sorted no problem.
    Good location. All we needed for our 3 night stay
    Great shower.

    What could be improved: Not like is too strong but the rooms could do with some TLC.
    The third bedroom is actually a double bed in the lounge but was no problem.
    The locks on the doors seem not too good though there are dead bolts inside so no danger of anyone getting in when you're asleep

    It was very clean with excellent facilities. WIFI was excellent too. Lots of space and different rooms, great for families. Kitchen facilities were exceptional if you want to eat and cook, also washing machine provided. There was handwash in bathroom and kitchen. Bathroom looks brand new

    What could be improved: Cant say there is anything i didnt like. Could do with a non slip mat for the shower but nothing to complain about.

    The rooms were a really good size, as was the kitchen. It was good that it was big enough to work in and also had a good sized dining table. Property was in a great location for the park and local transport. Also easy to walk into the city centre or to Partick.

    What could be improved: We had an issue getting the gas oven to work as the ignition didn't work, but found instructions on YouTube that worked. The rooms at the front of the house were quite difficult to heat, which was fine to sleep in but a bit more uncomfortable to sit in.

    Great location as it was just off the main roads but short walk to local bars and cafes, spacious rooms so the guests can't hear each other snore.

    What could be improved: Had to contact the landlord to find out where to collect them from but the hotel around the corner holding them was open 24/7 and the process was handled easy enough. Shower had a broken shower head holder, so to shower you needed to hold the shower head with one hand at all times.

    Location was excellent, was within walking distance to shops, grocery stores and restaurants. Only 2 kilometers to the downtown core, so the location couldn't have been any better for us. Was very quiet and spacious. Keys were easy to obtain, and it was no trouble to pick up extras during our stay at the hotel.

    What could be improved: Could have been a little cleaner, but apart from that, it was perfect for a family of five.
