What really impressed me was how quiet everything was, especially considering we’re talking about central Glasgow here. The soundproofing must be exceptional because even though there’s plenty of life happening outside, you’d never know it from inside your apartment. The staff – and this might sound small, but it matters – actually seem to know what they’re doing. Check-in was smooth, they knew the neighborhood well enough to give proper restaurant recommendations (not just the touristy spots), and when I had a minor issue with the heating, someone was up within maybe ten minutes to sort it out. The whole operation just runs smoothly without that overly formal, stuffy atmosphere some high-end places can have. It’s got that 9.3 rating for good reason – everything works the way it should, the apartments are genuinely comfortable rather than just impressive-looking, and you get the independence of having your own space with all the backup of proper hotel service when you need it. Perfect setup if you’re staying for more than just a night or two and want to feel somewhat settled rather than just passing through.
