The staff genuinely seems to know what they’re doing too, which isn’t always a given with boutique places. They helped me sort out some tricky dinner reservations and gave me spot-on recommendations for places that weren’t just the usual tourist traps. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend calling ahead if you’re arriving super early since it’s not a massive operation with 24/7 front desk coverage like the big chains. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this part of town – there’s no dedicated hotel parking, but they’ll point you toward the nearest multi-story, which is only about a two-minute walk. The vibe here definitely skews more toward travelers who appreciate something a bit different and don’t need their hand held for every little thing. It’s the kind of place that feels special without trying too hard, if that makes sense.
