The heating system works brilliantly too, which I can tell you matters when you’re in this part of Scotland – even in warmer months, those Campsie evenings can get pretty crisp. It’s the kind of place where you book for one night and immediately start planning your next visit, especially if you’re someone who appreciates genuine peace and quiet without sacrificing comfort. Just don’t expect a traditional hotel experience; this is more like having your own private retreat with views that’ll make your Instagram followers seriously jealous.

  I liked the cosy size of the pod whilst still having all the facilities we needed for our stay,
