Chic & Cozy 2-Bed Flat in Glasgow – Free Parking Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Chic & Cozy 2-Bed Flat in Glasgow – Free Parking on Ayr Street, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. The building looks pretty standard for this part of Glasgow, but you know what they say about judging books by their covers. Once I got inside flat 7, I was pleasantly surprised by how well they’ve done up the space. The owners have clearly put some thought into making it feel like an actual home rather than just another sterile rental – there’s proper artwork on the walls, decent furniture that doesn’t look like it came from a budget catalog, and honestly, the beds are way more comfortable than you’d expect from a 3-star place.
The location actually works really well if you know Glasgow a bit. Ayr Street itself is quiet enough that you won’t have drunk football fans stumbling past your window at 2am (trust me, this matters), but you’re still close enough to the action when you want it. I mean, you can walk to the city center in about 20 minutes if you don’t mind the stroll, or there’s decent bus connections nearby. The free parking thing is genuinely brilliant – anyone who’s tried to park in central Glasgow will tell you that alone probably saves you £15-20 a day, which pretty much pays for the room upgrade you didn’t think you could afford. The parking spot is right there too, not some mysterious location three streets away like some places try to pull.
What I really appreciated were the little touches that show someone’s actually stayed here themselves. The kitchen has proper knives (you know how rare that is in rentals?), there’s actually enough towels for everyone, and they’ve got blackout curtains that work – crucial for those bright Scottish summer evenings when the sun doesn’t seem to set until 10pm. The whole flat feels lived-in in the best way possible, sort of like you’re staying at a friend’s place who happens to have excellent taste. The 7.6 rating seems about right to me – it’s not luxury, but it’s solid and comfortable with character. Perfect for couples or small families who want their own space without paying hotel prices, especially if you’re planning to actually explore Glasgow rather than just hiding in your room. Just don’t expect room service or a concierge – this is proper self-catering territory, which honestly I prefer anyway.

Reviews of Chic & Cozy 2-Bed Flat in Glasgow – Free Parking
Good location, modern and comfortable apartment. Recommend and would stay again! – Rachael from United Kingdom – July 18, 2025 (10/10)
Well located for Glasgow central, easy for Ubers into town. Spacious, modern and comfortable.
What could be improved: Wasn’t that we didn’t like it at all but probably recommend the bath/shower gets looked at as there’s clearly a leak down the side of the bath tub where the sealant has come away and I think there may be damp/mould from that.Amazing value stay close to amenities and easy access to centre on train – Scott from United Kingdom – May 19, 2025 (10/10)
Apartment was very clean and presentable with all the facilities you’d expect from an apartment. Beds were comfy and loads of amenities close by (2-3mins) walk away. Train into centre only takes 7 mins

The flat was clean, beautiful decorated and very comfortable. I would stay again and recommend to others
Classy apartment in a superb location. – Friedrich from Germany – February 13, 2025 (10/10)
Very classy apartment. Super spacious and all the modern gadgets one would need to make their stay comfortable. I travel for work a lot, and I would be booking this apartment for my long stay. Location was superb and free parking was just what I needed in Glasgow centre.

Cozy ambience
What could be improved: Location. Linen and pillows. Dirty towelsDisappointing. – Yvette from Singapore – May 22, 2025 (4/10)
Free parking.
What could be improved: The conditions of the apartment are NOT what it seems. Great staging, playing with the lighting and enhancing the photos. The reality is the apartment is old and worn out. Wifi wasn't connected, bedside light was also not plugged in
Have to do it ourselves. Water pressure is low. The bedside tables are too big, and my arm always gets knocked by the sharp edge. The duvet is too small for 02 people. One of the window blinds was torn. For the price that I paid for is not worth it.Awful – Andrea from United Kingdom – March 17, 2025 (2/10)
Nothing
What could be improved: Area, cleanliness, access, smell throughout full building and flat.
Awful premises, would not recommendWould not stay again. – Juliet from United States – March 1, 2025 (2/10)
Wasn’t much.
What could be improved: The photos are very deceptive, as if they’d been airbrushed. This is 2 star place. There were stains and discolourations on walls and furniture. Furniture was much different than pictured. Kitchen did not match details of description, dishes and some drawers were dirty with an odd smell, was not well equipped. Queen bed is very low, mattress sits even lower. Water pressure is very low. Staff were impossible when trying to resolve issues. I highly, highly recommend you stay elsewhere. Definitely not a value for money either.
