The flat itself lives up to that “bright” promise – whoever designed this place knew what they were doing with the windows. Natural light floods in during the day, which is honestly a blessing in Scotland where you sometimes wonder if the sun’s gone on permanent vacation. The three bedrooms are genuinely spacious too, not those cramped boxes you sometimes get where you can barely fit a suitcase.

What I really appreciated was how the place felt lived-in rather than sterile. You know those rental apartments that look like they were decorated by someone who’s never actually stayed in a hotel? This isn’t that. There are thoughtful touches – decent coffee in the kitchen (not just those sad instant packets), proper blackout curtains in the bedrooms, and enough electrical outlets that you won’t be playing musical chairs with your devices. The kitchen’s well-stocked enough that you could actually cook if you wanted to, which comes in handy when you realize Glasgow restaurant prices can add up quickly. Parking can be a bit of a dance around here – it’s street parking, so you might have to circle the block once or twice during busy times, but honestly, that’s pretty standard for this part of the city. The 8.3 rating makes sense to me; it’s not luxury, but it’s solid, comfortable, and surprisingly well-maintained for a 3-star place. The East End has this authentic Glasgow character that the more polished areas sometimes lack – you’ll see actual locals going about their daily business, proper chip shops, and pubs that haven’t been turned into trendy cocktail bars. If you’re the type of traveler who wants to experience a city rather than just tick off tourist boxes, this flat gives you a genuine taste of how Glaswegians actually live.

Hotel in Glasgow booking should be done early, especially during summer festival season when the city hosts internationally celebrated performances at iconic venues like the SSE Hydro.

  All kinds of items are available in the home—everything you might need when you're with your family, including toys for the kids, large television, and a variety of etables. The rooms are neat and clean. The landlord’s responses to all my questions were always polite and positive. I would recommend this place to anyone—you won’t regret it!

  What could be improved: Die Küche war nicht wirklich sauber. Im Kühlschrank stand ein angeschimmelter Orangensaft. Das vorbereitete "Frühstück" bestand aus 4 Dosen Bohnen, 11 Eier, 1 Milchflasche und einer Packung Honey Loops. Mit der einzigen kleinen Pfanne, welche verbeult und uneben war, konnte man kaum Spiegeleier machen, zumal es keinen Pfannenwender gab.
  Zusammengefasst gibt es bzgl.der Küche zu meckern, sonst insgesamt o.k.
