I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to the Cozy 1 bed Blythswood Apartment on Saint Vincent Street, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in unassuming packages, and this little gem absolutely knocked my socks off with that stellar 9.6 rating it’s earned.

The location is actually brilliant if you know Glasgow at all – you’re right in the heart of the city center, which means everything’s walkable. I mean, you step outside and Buchanan Street’s shopping is literally a few minutes away, and the whole Merchant City area is right there for when you want proper Scottish pub food or those late-night curry spots that Glaswegians seem to guard like state secrets. The apartment itself sits in this gorgeous Victorian building that’s got that solid, “we’ve-seen-some-history” feel to it. The one-bedroom setup is surprisingly spacious – not like those cramped London flats where you’re bumping elbows with yourself. The living area actually gives you room to spread out, and honestly, the kitchen‘s better equipped than my own place (which isn’t saying much, but still). What really got me was how quiet it stays despite being smack in the city center – those old Scottish buildings know how to keep the street noise out.

Here’s the thing that really sets this place apart though – it’s got that lived-in comfort that makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel room. The decor’s nothing fancy, just clean and comfortable with those little touches that show someone actually cares about the space. The bed’s properly comfortable too, which matters more than people think when you’ve been tramping around Glasgow’s hills all day. Parking can be a bit of a dance around there – it’s city center, so you know how it is – but there’s decent street parking if you’re patient, and a few car parks within walking distance if you’re not. The whole Blythswood area’s got this nice mix of business types during the day and locals heading to the pubs in the evening, so there’s always something happening but it never gets too rowdy. Check-in was smooth as anything, and the owners clearly know their stuff about what travelers actually need. For the price point and that location, you’re getting incredible value – I’ve paid twice as much for half the space in other Scottish cities that shall remain nameless.

  What could be improved: المكان قريب من السيتي والسوق والجمعيه بس العيب انه في صعدات وايد فإذا شايلين أغراض تعب بس بالنزله سهل بس هذي طبيعه اسكتلندا غلاسكو وادنبرة مرتفعات
  أقرب جمعيه كانت تسكو تبعد مسافه ١٠ دقايق شوي اقل بسبب الصعدات تأخذ ١٠ دقايق واقرب كافيه بلاك شيب يبعد ٦ دقايق وستار بوكس قريب مال ٥ دقايق بس يسكر هالفرع ايام السبت والأحد وفي سوبرماركت مفتوح ٢٤ ساعه قريب منه
  وامممم هيه الشقه يايه تحت المبنى وله بوابه خاصه فيه تنزل تقريبا ١٠ سلمات درج فاللي عنده شنط كبيرة متعبه له بس كانت أقامه حلوة مريحه وخفيفه وسعيدة
