Fab Location 1 bed Apt overlooking Glasgow Green Overview
You know what really caught me off guard about the Fab Location 1 bed Apt overlooking Glasgow Green? I mean, I’ve walked past this building probably a hundred times heading to the weekend farmers market, but I never actually thought about what the view would be like from up there. Well, turns out it’s pretty spectacular – you’re literally looking out over one of Glasgow’s oldest parks, watching joggers do their morning loops and dog walkers congregating around the monument. The apartment itself is honestly more spacious than I expected (and I say this as someone who’s seen way too many “cozy” one-bedroom places that barely fit a suitcase). The kitchen‘s got everything you actually need – proper coffee maker, decent-sized fridge, even a dishwasher which, let’s be real, makes a huge difference when you’re staying somewhere for more than a couple nights.
What I really appreciate about this place is how it sits right in that sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in the neighborhood rather than just visiting it. The People’s Palace is basically across the street, and if you’re into that whole Victorian museum vibe (I’m talking winter gardens, social history exhibits, the works), you could easily spend a rainy afternoon there. Plus, honestly, being this close to Glasgow Green means you’re a proper walk away from the Merchant City – none of that tourist trap nonsense, but still close enough that you can wander over for dinner without calling an Uber. The building itself is pretty quiet, which surprised me given how central everything is. I mean, you’ll hear the occasional siren or late-night reveler, but it’s not like you’re on Sauchiehall Street or anything.
The whole setup just works, you know? Like, the host clearly gets that people want to feel settled rather than constantly reminded they’re in temporary accommodation. There’s proper blackout curtains (thank god), decent water pressure in the shower, and the heating actually responds when you adjust it – small things that matter when you’re trying to get a good night’s sleep. I’d say the 8.1 rating makes sense; it’s not going to win any design awards, but it delivers exactly what it promises. The location alone is worth it if you want to experience Glasgow like someone who actually lives here rather than just hitting the obvious tourist spots. Fair warning though – if you’re expecting hotel-style daily housekeeping or a concierge desk, this obviously isn’t that kind of place. But if you want your own space overlooking one of the city’s best green spaces, with easy access to both the historic East End and the buzzy city center, it’s honestly hard to beat.
Best hotels in Glasgow range from luxurious properties in the historic city center to boutique hotels with stunning views of the River Clyde and magnificent Victorian architecture.

Great location in first floor of modern two-storey building, Morrisons ten minute walk, Barras the same, People's Palace five minutes away in front of house, spacious throughout, everywhere clean, kitchen well equipped for self catering, capacious fridge and freezer, functioning washing machine, comfortable bed (appreciated the electric blanket in a cold January stay), comfortable sofa, plenty of daylight plus good variety of electric lighting, good WiFi, loads of storage and hooks for hanging things up tidily. Agent and owner did try to get the plumbing sorted out (malfunction in cistern). Bring slippers since outdoor shoes must be removed.

Très spatieux, c'est un appartement complet, propre et parfaitement équipé.
L'emplacement est idéal : à une 15aine de minutes à pied du centre mais dans un endroit résidentiel et calme, au bord d'un très joli parc.
