Fraser Suites Glasgow Overview

You know what caught me off guard about Fraser Suites Glasgow? It’s one of those places that looks pretty standard from the outside but completely delivers once you step inside. I mean, the serviced apartment concept isn’t new, but they’ve actually nailed it here in ways that surprised me. The suites are genuinely spacious – and I’m not talking about that fake spacious feeling you get with clever mirrors and white walls. These are proper apartments with kitchens you’d actually want to cook in and living areas where you can spread out your laptop without feeling cramped.

The location is honestly brilliant, though you might not realize it immediately. You’re tucked away enough to avoid the typical city center chaos, but still close enough that you can walk to most of the good stuff in Glasgow. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – none of that constant traffic noise that usually comes with central locations. The staff seem to know their stuff too, which isn’t always a given with extended-stay places. They’re helpful without being pushy, and honestly, the check-in was smoother than most traditional hotels I’ve stayed at recently.

Here’s the thing that’ll probably matter most to you though – the value is actually solid for what you get. Yeah, it’s a 4-star place with an 8.4 rating, but those numbers don’t really tell you that you’re getting apartment-style living without the usual serviced apartment premium. The kitchens have proper appliances (not those tiny hotel fridges that barely fit a sandwich), and there’s decent storage space for longer stays. I stayed during a pretty busy period and never felt like the place was overcrowded or struggling to keep up with demand. The housekeeping was consistent, which honestly can be hit or miss with apartment-style accommodations. If you’re looking for something between a cramped hotel room and the hassle of renting a proper flat, this place hits that sweet spot without trying too hard to be fancy about it.

The suites have been extensively renovated. They really are beautiful. We were on the Executive floor and really appreciated all the little extras. Spacious, bright and comfortable, a real home from home. Staff were all lovely. The apartments are in an ideal location – very central, but in a quiet area.

Location, ideal for town, be prepared for noise on the night, but that wasn’t an issue for us but could be for some

  • Martin from United Kingdom (9/10)

Great 1 bed apartment for a price that wouldn’t get you a hotel room. Close to Barrowlands which was why we stayed.
