I spent way more time than expected just sitting by the windows, watching Glasgow go about its business below. The kitchen is properly equipped too – I’m talking real cooking facilities, not just a sad little kettle and some instant coffee sachets. Perfect if you want to grab some bits from the Tesco Metro down the street or venture to the Merchant City market.

What really gets me about this place is how it sits in the heart of everything without feeling touristy or sterile. You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from both the financial district buzz and the more artsy Merchant City area, but Saint Vincent Street itself has this lovely residential feel in the evenings. The building has character – you can tell it’s got history – but the apartment itself feels thoroughly modern and comfortable. No creaky floors or temperamental heating, which honestly can be a gamble with some of these converted Glasgow buildings. The rating of 9 makes complete sense when you experience it firsthand; it’s that attention to detail that pushes it beyond just “nice accommodation” into genuinely memorable territory. Things like actually decent Wi-Fi (crucial if you’re working remotely), proper blackout curtains, and a shower with decent pressure – small stuff that makes a huge difference when you’re staying more than a night or two.

I’d say this works especially well if you’re in Glasgow for more than a quick weekend, or if you’re traveling with someone and want your own space. The location means you can easily walk to Central Station, pop over to the Style Mile for shopping, or head toward the university area without dealing with transport. Plus, being right in Central Glasgow means you’re never far from a decent pub or restaurant, but you’re not stuck in the middle of the weekend chaos either.

  I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful two-bedroom apartment in the heart of Glasgow, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The apartment is stylish, comfortable and clean. The central location was ideal, making it easy to walk to everything Glasgow has to offer, and a to get to the train station in less than 10 minutes.
  On top of this, not only were the owners incredibly clear with the check-in instructions, but they also went above and beyond after I left. I realized I had forgotten a couple of personal items at the apartment, and the owners were kind enough to send them to me promptly.
  Overall, this apartment exceeded all my expectations, and I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Glasgow. If you’re looking for a fantastic place to stay in the city centre, look no further!

  Beautiful, comfortable and warm apartment, great location with walking distance to SEC, restaurants, shopping and short walk to the river. Vik was great to deal with and very kindly allowed slightly earlier access when we arrived before check in from Australia. We would definitely stay here again!

  A lovely spacious and bright apartment, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer. Beds were very comfortable. The apartment was an easy walk from Glasgow Central Station, close to shops, bars, restaurants.

  This is a large 2 bedroom, two-bath apartment near the city center. It was well furnished and had a pleasant ambience. The beds were comfortable. Very Quiet.
  
  What could be improved: They had supplemented the existing radiator heating system with several electric portable heaters. That was still not quite enough. The problem was the wood casement single pane windows. They leaked badly. You could stand in front of the windows and feel the breeze.
