Glasgow 2 Bedroom Apartment Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Glasgow 2 Bedroom Apartment on Aberfeldy Street, I wasn’t expecting much from the East End location. But you know what? This place completely changed my perspective on this part of Glasgow. The building itself has that solid Victorian character you find all over the city, and once you’re inside, it’s clear someone put real thought into making this feel like an actual home rather than just another rental property.

The apartment genuinely feels spacious – and I mean properly spacious, not that cramped “cozy” you usually get with city rentals. Both bedrooms are decent sized (the main one actually fits a proper wardrobe), and the living area has this nice natural light that comes through in the afternoons. What I really appreciated was how well-stocked the kitchen is – I mean, they’ve got everything from decent knives to a proper coffee maker, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re staying somewhere for more than a couple nights. The whole place has been done up recently too, so you’re not dealing with that tired, worn-out feeling some rentals have.

Now, about the location – Aberfeldy Street might not be in the Merchant City or West End, but that’s actually part of its charm. You’re in a proper residential area where real Glaswegians live, which gives you a completely different feel for the city. There’s a Tesco just a few minutes’ walk away (essential for groceries), and you can easily catch a bus into the city center – takes maybe 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The neighborhood’s been going through quite a bit of regeneration lately, so you’ll see some interesting street art and a few decent local spots if you take the time to explore. It’s definitely quieter than staying right in the center, which I actually loved after long days of sightseeing. The only thing I’d mention is that parking can be a bit hit-or-miss on the street – not impossible, but you might have to circle the block once or twice during busy times. Overall though, for a 4-star rating and what you’re paying, this place delivers way more than you’d expect, especially if you want to experience Glasgow like you actually live there rather than just passing through.

Many travelers prefer to book apartments in Glasgow through trusted local agencies that provide insider knowledge about the best districts for experiencing the city’s musical atmosphere and artistic heritage.

Reviews of Glasgow 2 Bedroom Apartment

  • Very Good – Justine from United States – December 14, 2024 (8/10)

Roomy, clean and had everything I needed.

What could be improved: As an American there are some quirks when it comes to appliances and functions of the apartment that are unique to the uk. It would be lovely if the online guide told you how to work the appliances or at the least label the outlets

  • Very Good – Darren from United Kingdom – July 1, 2025 (8/10)

Park and shops on your doorstep. Glasgow centre near by too

What could be improved: The entrance halll to property needed refurbishing

  • Comfortable stay. – Paul from United Kingdom – April 25, 2025 (7/10)

Good location for Glasgow central. Comfortable stay. Easy enough check in and departure.

What could be improved: Things I would encourage to be added to the property:
Tea towels; clothes horse; additional lounge chair in living room.

  • Bad – Alok from India – July 29, 2025 (1/10)

What could be improved: No support by property owner for heating unit which was non functional in spite of multiple calls and messages

  • Exceptional – Laura from United Kingdom – June 26, 2025 (10/10)

The area was close by to everything and quiet.

  • Neat flat with great access to transport and the city. – Jean from United Kingdom – December 29, 2024 (9/10)

The property was very clean and spacious.
The beds were comfortable. The property is Very close to shops and transport links, with a short trip to the city centre. There is plenty of free parking too. The neighbourhood was very quiet while we were there – we never heard a thing while in the flat. All instructions re location and entry were clear and simple. It was a great place for us to use as a base to visit family and sights. We enjoyed our stay

  • Exceptional – Jay from United Kingdom – November 18, 2024 (10/10)

The property for 10 mins out the centre and was very easy to access the city

  • We trully enjoyed our time in Glasgow, it was great🥰 – Julia from Poland – September 26, 2024 (10/10)

Everything was very clean and me and my friends felt realy comfotable in there. I think the bigget plus is the area where the apartment is placed, very close to the shop, park, bus stop and train station, we realy enjoyed our stay and had No problems at any point.

What could be improved: Everything was perfect☺️

  • Terrible! Never experienced anything like it! – Adam from United Kingdom – July 30, 2025 (1/10)

    Nothing!!!

What could be improved: Cleanliness was awful! Cobwebs everywhere, water damaged walls, filthy rug!
Carpet divider held down by nails not screws, one nail missing & my daughter ripped her toe open on the divider!
A rubbish tip right outside the bedroom window! I know it’s a rough part of Glasgow but I wouldn’t let my dog sleep there tbh!!
