When I first walked into this duplex, I actually stopped in my tracks – the sheer size of the place is ridiculous. We’re talking 2100 square feet here, which in central Glasgow feels almost absurd. The living areas flow into each other naturally, and you know what really got me? The fact that they’ve managed to fit three proper bedrooms and three full bathrooms without it feeling cramped. The second living room actually works too – it’s not just some awkward afterthought space that you’ll never use.

But honestly, the real star of this place is that private sky terrace on the top floor. I mean, river views in Glasgow can be hit or miss, but from up there you’re getting proper panoramas of the Clyde, and on clear days you can see way out toward the west. I spent way too much time up there with my morning coffee, just watching the city wake up below. The terrace is huge too – big enough for a proper dinner party if that’s your thing. Inside, the duplex layout actually makes sense; bedrooms upstairs for privacy, living spaces downstairs for hanging out. The kitchen is well-equipped enough that I cooked several meals (something I rarely bother with when traveling), and there’s proper counter space for spreading out groceries and actually preparing food like a human being.

What really sets this apart though is the practical stuff that most places get wrong. Two parking spaces – and I cannot stress enough how valuable this is in central Glasgow where finding one spot can take twenty minutes of circling around. The location puts you within walking distance of both the SECC and the Hydro, which is perfect if you’re in town for events, but you’re far enough away that you’re not dealing with the chaos and noise when big concerts let out. The whole building feels solid and well-maintained, none of that creaky floors or thin walls nonsense you sometimes get with city center properties. Check-in was straightforward, the kind of seamless process that makes you realize how often other places overcomplicate things. My only minor complaint? The shower pressure in the master bath could be stronger, but honestly that’s being picky. This place genuinely feels like a luxury apartment that happens to be available for short stays rather than some sterile hotel trying to feel homey. If you’re traveling with family or friends and want space to actually spread out and live a bit, this penthouse delivers in ways that surprised me.

    Excellent Penthouse, perfect view of the river City Central Location! Free parking. Very nice and safe neighbourhood for families! Booked before for new year holidays and stayed further! Duplex, two living rooms, upstairs and downstairs, very spacious, more than enough space for 6-8 guests. Very easy check in! Jim and Megan were great!
