The building itself has that solid Glasgow character – thick stone walls that actually keep the street noise down (something I definitely appreciated after a late night out), and the flat is on the first floor, so no hauling luggage up endless stairs. The West End vibe starts creeping in just a few blocks away, and you can easily walk to Kelvingrove Park or the university area when you want that leafy, café-filled atmosphere.

What I really appreciated was how the space felt thoughtfully put together without trying too hard. The kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to grab supplies from the nearby shops – there’s a decent Tesco just down the road – and the living area has this relaxed, uncluttered feel that makes you want to actually hang out there instead of just crashing. The 9.3 rating makes total sense when you experience it; it’s not trying to be a fancy hotel with marble lobbies and room service, but everything works properly, it’s genuinely clean, and the little details (good WiFi, decent shower pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light) show someone cares about the guest experience. Glasgow can be tricky for parking, but there’s street parking available if you’re driving, though honestly, you’re so well-connected here that you might not need a car at all. The whole setup just feels authentic to the city – unpretentious but comfortable, practical but with personality.

  Perfect little flat to stay in when we went to see Diana Ross 😍
  Weren't there long enough to write an epic review, but it's definitely a place you can stay for more than one night. Exceptionally clean, didn't have to worry about putting my feet on the floor!!! Literally 10min, straight forward walk to the OVO. Will definitely book to stay here again when we do stay overs for shows.
  
  What could be improved: Only let down is the parking. However, we parked the car in the OVO multistory for £24 for 24hrs, so there was no stress about timings and if we were in the right spaces.

  Property felt incredibly homely with lots of well thought out little home comforts that really made our stay. It’s got supermarkets located nearby and is a 20 min walk from central station and 9 mins to the SEC where we had an event. Host was incredibly responsive to queries and extra helpful in accommodating requests. If we even have another event again I’d happily stay.
