The bar area becomes this naturally social space where you’ll find a mix of business travelers and tourists, but it never feels forced or overly scene-y. I ended up chatting with a couple from Edinburgh who’d been coming here for years whenever they visited Glasgow – apparently they’d tried other places but kept coming back, which tells you something. The breakfast setup is solid too (though I’d skip the fancy coffee and just go with the regular stuff). Location-wise, you’re walking distance to the main shopping areas and the cultural quarter, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with street noise all night. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but the concierge actually knows the neighborhood spots that won’t cost you a fortune.
