Itohan 3-bed Cottage Flat Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Itohan 3-bed Cottage Flat on Brassey Street, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The address had me thinking it might be some cramped city conversion, but this little gem actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked into one of those quiet residential streets in Glasgow‘s West End that locals love but tourists rarely stumble across by accident. You know the kind – tree-lined, with those beautiful Victorian tenements that make you feel like you’re getting the real Glasgow experience rather than just another cookie-cutter hotel stay.

The flat itself has that lived-in charm that’s hard to fake. Three proper bedrooms, which is honestly a godsend if you’re traveling with family or a group of friends who actually want some space to spread out. The kitchen‘s nothing fancy, but it’s got everything you’d actually use – decent-sized fridge, proper cooker, even a dishwasher (trust me, you’ll appreciate that after a long day exploring). What I really loved was how the place felt like stepping into someone’s actual home rather than a sterile rental property. The furniture’s comfortable without trying too hard, and there are little touches that show someone actually cares about the space. The living room gets lovely afternoon light, which made it perfect for those inevitable Glasgow afternoons when the weather decides to be, well, very Scottish.

Location-wise, you’re really well positioned here. Brassey Street puts you close enough to the buzz of Great Western Road that you can walk to proper shops and cafes, but far enough away that you won’t be dealing with late-night noise from the bars. I mean, parking can be a bit of a dance – it’s mostly street parking in this area – but honestly, that’s just Glasgow for you. The real win is being able to walk to the Botanic Gardens in about ten minutes, and if you’re into the whole Merchant City scene, you’re looking at maybe a twenty-minute stroll or a quick subway ride. Actually, speaking of transport, Hillhead subway station is close enough that you don’t need to stress about getting around the city. Just be prepared for those Scottish weather moments – I’d definitely recommend keeping an umbrella handy, because Glasgow’s weather has its own personality, and it changes its mind faster than you’d expect.

Exploring Glasgow offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Scotland’s cultural capital, from its industrial heritage to its Victorian splendor and world-renowned connections to Scottish music and arts.

Reviews of Itohan 3-bed Cottage Flat

  • The room owner unreasonably changed my original room to another room. File a complaint! – Ho from United Kingdom – August 17, 2025 (1/10)

What could be improved: The room owner unreasonably changed my original room to another room on the first day of my trip, and they only informed us before the moved-in date. Their explanation is they have a problem with their booking sync systems between Airbnb and Booking.com, and they still have a guest staying at the property. The temporary room is a house waiting to be rented out, and was no replacement for our original choice. Unfortunately, we were unable to refuse that room as they informed us at the last minute!!

  • I and my children can’t wait to be back again. It feels like home to us. – Anonymous from Qatar – July 28, 2025 (10/10)

Everything from the beginning, the property is well maintained and everything part of the room speaks amazing, the kitchen feels like home and the children enjoyed their rooms.

What could be improved: Nothing to say I disliked
