The whole setup feels like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel – and I mean that in the best way possible. The apartment has this lived-in comfort that makes you want to kick off your shoes and actually relax, which is rare when you’re traveling.

The two bedrooms are decently sized, nothing fancy but they’ve got good beds and enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – you’d think being called “Quarry” might mean industrial noise, but it’s actually pretty peaceful. The free parking situation is honestly a godsend because anyone who’s tried to find decent parking while hauling luggage knows what a nightmare that can be. It’s right there, no circling blocks or feeding meters every two hours, which already puts this place ahead of half the accommodations I’ve stayed at.

The kitchen is where this place really shines though. It’s actually functional – I’m talking full-size fridge, decent cookware, enough counter space to make a proper meal. The owners clearly thought about what people actually need rather than just throwing in the bare minimum. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings, which saved money and honestly tasted better than the hotel continental breakfast situation. The living area flows nicely from the kitchen, with a couch that’s comfortable enough for evening wind-down time. There’s this homey vibe throughout that makes you feel settled rather than just passing through. Sure, it’s a 3-star place with a 7.9 rating, so you’re not getting luxury resort vibes, but the value is solid. The little details matter here – good water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, Wi-Fi that doesn’t cut out when you need it most. It’s those practical things that make or break a stay, and they’ve got them covered.

  Location was great, the number 2 bus goes straight into Glasgow, and you can catch it just around the corner.
  The beds were really comfortable and everything was really clean.
  Diane was great at giving us recommendations and keeping us updated with things we needed to know.
  You can link your own accounts to the TV, just remember to sign out before you leave.
  Fully equipped kitchen, so you could save some money by getting food from the shops and cooking it yourself.
  Free parking outside the apartment was very welcome.

  Recientemente me alojé en este apartamento con mucha duda ya que fue una reserva a ultimo momento y me fije en una reseña después de hacer la reserva. Sin embargo me di cuenta que:
  Desde el momento en que llegamos, nuestra experiencia fue excepcional. La información recivida fue muy clara y no tuve ningun problema accediando a la propiedad. El apartamento está ubicado en un vecindario tranquillo y es en un primero piso que fue perfecto para mi madre que no puede caminar mucho. Hay también muchas tiendas internacionales y un supermercado abierto las 24 horas, perfecto para comprar lo que necesite la noche que llegue tarde.
  
  El apartamento en sí está bien, es espacioso y está equipado con todo lo que podrías necesitar para una estancia cómoda. Las camas son comodas y el internet gratuito era rápido y confiable.
  
  En cuanto al personal y al anfitrión, fueron nada menos que increíbles. Fueron acogedores, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudarnos con cualquier pregunta o necesidad que tuviéramos. Su cálida hospitalidad nos hizo sentir valorados y bien cuidados durante nuestra estancia. Está claro que se enorgullecen de ofrecer un servicio de primera calidad.
  
  No estoy seguro de por qué un huésped anterior tuvo una experiencia negativa, pero nuestra estancia fue completamente opuesta. El apartamento, el anfitrión y la experiencia en general fueron sublimes, todo a un excelente precio que ofrecía una gran relación calidad-precio. Quedamos realmente impresionados y no dudaríamos en recomendar este lugar a cualquiera que busque una estancia cómoda. Nos gustaríaregresar para otra visita!"
