The name doesn’t do it justice at all – I mean, “large” sounds like something a real estate agent would say when they can’t think of better adjectives. But honestly, this 4-star spot has way more character than that bland name suggests, and with an 8.7 rating, clearly other people are figuring that out too.

The thing about this place is it actually feels like a residence, if that makes sense. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels that try to pull off that “home away from home” vibe with throw pillows and fake fireplaces, but this one gets it right in ways that are hard to pin down. Maybe it’s the way the lighting feels warm instead of that harsh hotel fluorescent thing, or how the common areas don’t echo when you walk through them. The staff – and I’m usually pretty skeptical about hotel service – seem to actually remember your name after the first day, which is either really good training or they genuinely care. Probably a bit of both.

What I really appreciated was the attention to details that most places skip over. The Wi-Fi actually works everywhere (shocking, I know), and not just “works” but works well enough that I could video call my family without that awkward pixelated freeze-frame situation. The rooms are properly soundproofed too – I’m someone who wakes up if a door closes too loudly down the hall, but here I actually slept through the night. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that “let me tell you about seventeen amenities you’ll never use” speech that some places insist on. They just got me sorted and let me get on with my day. Honestly, sometimes the best service is just being efficient and friendly without the theatrics. The whole experience felt more like staying at a well-run boutique property than your typical chain hotel – you get that personal touch without sacrificing the reliability you want when you’re traveling.
