Clean, comfortable bed (which honestly matters more than fancy pillows), decent shower with actual water pressure, and enough space to spread out your stuff without playing suitcase Tetris. The 7.1 rating makes sense – it’s not perfect, but it gets the job done without any nasty surprises. I actually liked that they didn’t try too hard to be something they’re not. The breakfast was simple but good, staff were genuinely helpful when I needed directions, and check-in was smooth. There’s something to be said for a place that just… works, you know? Plus, parking wasn’t the nightmare I’d expected, which if you’ve ever driven in Glasgow, you’ll understand is basically a miracle. The only real downside is that the walls could be a bit thicker – I could hear my neighbors chatting, though thankfully they weren’t party animals.
