This little apartment on Union Street really does nail the “central” part, and after staying here, I get why they went with “lovely” too.

The location is what makes this place shine, honestly. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Central Station – I mean, you can practically hear the trains if you listen carefully, but it’s not disruptive at all. What I love about this spot is that you’re right in the thick of Glasgow‘s grid system, so everything feels walkable. The Merchant City is just around the corner, and I found myself wandering over to the Italian Centre or grabbing coffee on Ingram Street without even thinking about it. There’s a Tesco Express practically downstairs (well, down Union Street about 30 seconds), which saved me multiple times when I realized I’d forgotten something essential. The building itself is one of those solid Victorian blocks that Glasgow does so well – thick walls, high ceilings, the kind of place that feels substantial.

Inside, it’s surprisingly well put together for what’s essentially a serviced apartment. The bed is actually comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook – proper pans, not just the bare minimum stuff you usually get. The bathroom’s compact but functional, with decent water pressure. What struck me most was how quiet it gets at night, despite being so central. I was expecting city noise, but Union Street settles down nicely after the evening rush. The WiFi works well – important if you’re working remotely or just need to sort out your Glasgow plans. One small thing that made me smile: there’s this view from the window where you catch a slice of the city’s rooftops and church spires, nothing dramatic but authentically Glasgow. Check-in was smooth through a key box system, which I actually prefer to hunting down a person with keys. The whole experience felt like staying in someone’s well-maintained city flat rather than a sterile hotel room, if that makes sense.

  The flat was lovely. The only issue is the location, a lot of noise until 4am, loud music from the clubs also homeless people seating at the gate of the flat.

  الشقق جديده و نظيفة و مريحة و مجهزة بأحدث تاكنولوجيا، بوابة المبنى لا توحي بذالك لكن المبنى آمن تماما وكل الشقق مملوكة لنفس الشركة مما يكون أأمن. الاطلالة رائعة والموقع ممتاز. لكن يوجد ازعاج من الشارع في الليل.
  افضل مكان سكنته في غلاسكو.
