It’s actually positioned perfectly if you’re planning to catch anything at the Hydro or the exhibition center – I mean, you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from both venues, which honestly saved my evening when I was running late for a concert. The penthouse sits right on Lancefield Quay, and from up there, you get this sweeping view across the Clyde that makes you appreciate just how much Glasgow has transformed its riverfront over the years.

The bar situation is pretty sweet – it’s not some cramped corner setup, but actually feels like a proper space where you could settle in for the evening. I spent way too much time there just watching the city light up after dark, and the bartender (who seemed to know everyone in the building) made some seriously good cocktails. The penthouse itself has that modern luxury feel without being sterile – you know how some upscale places can feel like you’re staying in a showroom? This doesn’t have that problem. The finishes are solid, everything works properly, and there’s enough space to actually spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays despite being so close to major venues. I was worried about noise from events, but the building’s positioned just far enough from the main action that you get convenience without the chaos. Parking was straightforward too – there’s secure parking available, which honestly is worth its weight in gold in this part of the city. The 8.3 rating feels about right; it’s definitely a 4-star experience that delivers on what it promises. If you’re coming to Glasgow for events at the SECC or Hydro, or if you just want to be on the south side of the river with easy access to the city center, this place makes a lot of sense. The Finnieston area has really come alive in recent years, and you’re close enough to walk to some excellent restaurants and pubs when you want to venture out beyond the penthouse bar.

  The property was very well presented, spotlessly clean and tidy, modern and most comfortable. A home from home feel to it.
  The lovely view across part of the city and the river Clyde. It had all the amenities we could ask for and then some. Safe parking too, also all the information provided by the host to access the property was easy to navigate.
  
  What could be improved: There was not one single thing negative we could say about the property. It was fantastic. Even a little call from the host to ensure we were enjoying our stay and if everything was okay with the property (which we really respect and appreciate by the way, Agem😊) after we’d only been sat speaking about the flat and how lovely it was, and the location of it to the concert venue we were attending at the Hydro.

  Aparment was exactly like the photos and well speced out with appliances. Location was perfect to see things in the city and to drive out to otherlcations as not too far from main road in and out of city. Onsite parking was good and easy to get to, location is also just out of the LEZ. Had shops and a restaurants 15min walk away with lots of food options.
