Luxury Riverview City Centre Apartment 2 Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Luxury Riverview City Centre Apartment 2? The name makes it sound like some corporate chain property, but honestly, this place has way more personality than that suggests. Tucked away on Clyde Street right in the heart of Glasgow, it’s one of those boutique spots that doesn’t bother with official star ratings because – well, it kind of does its own thing.
I mean, the location alone is pretty brilliant. You’re literally steps from the River Clyde, and I actually spent a good chunk of my morning just watching the water from the apartment. The building itself sits in that sweet spot where you get all the energy of Central Glasgow without the constant noise – though you’ll still hear the occasional late-night reveler on weekends, just so you know. What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to create this residential feel while being smack in the middle of everything. You can walk to Merchant City in about five minutes, and the train station is close enough that you don’t need to stress about catching early connections.
The apartment itself feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than a typical hotel room. The interiors have this eclectic mix that somehow works – modern fixtures but with enough character pieces that it doesn’t feel sterile. I loved that they actually have proper kitchen facilities, not just a mini-fridge and kettle situation. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious too, which if you’ve stayed in many Glasgow city center places, you’ll appreciate. Now, I’ll be honest – the 7.7 rating it has reflects some of the quirks you get with boutique properties. Check-in wasn’t the smoothest (you need to coordinate timing since there’s no 24-hour desk), and some of the apartment’s charm comes from it being in an older building, so don’t expect everything to be perfectly pristine. But that’s sort of the point, isn’t it? The windows are proper large, and on a clear day you get these glimpses of the river that make you forget you’re in the city center. The whole vibe is relaxed in a way that bigger hotels just can’t manage – like you’re actually living in Glasgow for a few days rather than just visiting.
Exploring Glasgow offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Scotland’s cultural capital, from its industrial heritage to its Victorian splendor and world-renowned connections to Scottish music and arts.

Reviews of Luxury Riverview City Centre Apartment 2
Not a great area to stay. Apartment needs a serious clean. – Jacqui from Australia – August 26, 2024 (6/10)
That it was a modern apartment. Hosts were responsive.
What could be improved: The location and cleanliness. The rug in the lounge room was filthy, sheets were scratchy, skirting boards were dirty, ensuite didn’t have a door, tv in bedroom wasn’t tuned and despite attempts never worked for live tv.Good – Omoyemi from United Kingdom – October 19, 2024 (7/10)
非常好 – Yi from China – April 25, 2024 (10/10)
