I actually found myself walking along the Kelvin Walkway most mornings – it starts practically at your doorstep and winds through some of the prettiest parts of the west end.

What really sets this place apart, though, is that it feels like staying in someone’s carefully curated home rather than a hotel room that’s been focus-grouped to death. The lighting is warm and thoughtful, there are actual books on the shelves (not just decoration), and the bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that actually works properly. Parking can be a bit tricky during the week when the nearby offices are busy, but weekends are fine, and honestly, you probably won’t need your car much once you’re settled in. The only minor grumble I’d have is that the Wi-Fi can be a touch spotty in the back bedroom, but it’s solid in the main living area.
