The 8.7 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where nothing spectacular happens, but nothing goes wrong either, which is honestly what you want sometimes.

What I really loved was the location for exploring Glasgow. Sure, everyone talks about being near Glasgow Green, but what they don’t mention is that you’re also within easy walking distance of the Merchant City area – probably fifteen minutes if you don’t mind a bit of a stroll. The East End gets overlooked by a lot of visitors, but there’s something authentic about staying in this part of town. You’ll hear actual Glasgow accents in the corner shops, and the Barras market on weekends is just down the road if you fancy a proper rummage through vintage stuff and random finds. Plus, getting into the city center is dead easy – there are decent bus connections, and if you’re driving, parking around here is way less of a nightmare than trying to find a spot in the West End. Actually, the staff mentioned that some guests use it as a base for day trips too, since you can get to Loch Lomond in about 45 minutes on a good day. I didn’t do that myself, but it’s nice to know the option’s there if you want to escape the city for a bit.

  House is very clean, comfortable and tidy. Need Dustbin in every bed rooms. It would be good to have sum bathroom toiletries in the bathroom. I thing kitchen hood not connected to power, should be connected. Parking is street parking but not problem to park very close by.

  Comfortable 3 bedrooms house with 1 full bathroom and 1 WC. Rooms are of good size. Newly refurbished interior and bathrooms.
  Location is at the suburbs: 2 minutes drive from a small township with quite a few halal stores and restaurants, 5 minutes drive to a large Tesco and 3 minutes drive from Celtic Stadium.
