No.17 Serviced Apartment Overview

You know what caught me off guard about No.17 Serviced Apartment? It’s one of those places that doesn’t try too hard to impress you with fancy lobbies or over-the-top amenities, but somehow ends up being exactly what you need. I mean, the whole serviced apartment concept can be hit or miss – sometimes you get glorified hotel rooms with a mini-fridge, other times you get something that actually feels like a temporary home. This one definitely leans toward the latter.

The apartments themselves are honestly well thought out. I’m talking about real kitchen space where you can actually cook something more elaborate than instant noodles, decent-sized living areas that don’t make you feel claustrophobic after day three, and – this is important – proper storage so you’re not living out of your suitcase the entire time. The housekeeping strikes that perfect balance too; they’re thorough without being intrusive, and you can adjust the frequency based on how long you’re staying. What I really appreciated was the little touches that show someone actually lives in these spaces occasionally – like having proper hangers instead of those useless hotel ones, or drawer organizers that make sense. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout (I tested it because, let’s be honest, that can make or break a longer stay), and the whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s apartment than staying in some corporate housing situation.

Here’s the thing about three-star serviced apartments – they occupy this interesting sweet spot where you’re getting more space and independence than a hotel, without the premium price tag of luxury extended-stay places. The 8.5 rating makes sense once you’ve been there a few days; it’s not perfect, but it consistently delivers on what it promises. The staff actually remembers your name after a couple interactions, which sounds small but makes a difference when you’re dealing with work trips or family relocations. I noticed they’re pretty flexible about check-in times and package deliveries too – practical stuff that matters when you’re trying to coordinate a longer stay. The neighborhood itself has that lived-in feel where you’ll find actual grocery stores instead of just tourist traps, and you start recognizing the same dog walkers and coffee shop regulars after a while. Honestly, by the end of my stay, I felt more like a temporary local than a tourist passing through, which is exactly what you want from a serviced apartment experience.

Early hotels booking in Glasgow requires advance planning during peak tourist seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s legendary music scene, Victorian squares, and Scottish cultural attractions.

  • Rebecca from United Kingdom (9/10)

The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. A large fridge freezer, sleeps 6 comfortably but we only had 4 people with us. The beds were comfy and extra pillows if needed. A lot of space in the cupboards, an iron and iron board, plenty of toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, cleaning supplies and a hoover. They also had pots and pans so we made breakfast every morning, with everything needed available. There was coffee there and a nice coffee machine, a big table for us to sit at and 2 televisions. The heating was great, and the house heated up quickly. The shower was powerful and there was a bath there if you wanted it. A big driveway and it was really close to the city centre. We just ordered Ubers and we’re around £10 to go onto the city however in the area there is a Starbucks, McDonald’s, KFC and a petrol station with Asda and Greggs inside it. Kyle was really helpful, he contacted me prior to going and sent me full instructions of how to access the property and all in all we really enjoyed it and had plenty of space. Really good value for money and would highly recommend a stay here!

Property was clean and comfortable. Having a washing machine and dryer was very handy. The conservatory dining room and backyard would be lovely in the summertime.
