The whole space has this clean, minimalist aesthetic with really thoughtful touches, like proper blackout curtains (crucial for those bright Scottish summer evenings) and a kitchen that’s actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the nearby shops rather than eating out every meal.

What really sold me on this place, though, was how it strikes that perfect balance between being modern and convenient while still feeling connected to the real Glasgow. You’re about a fifteen-minute walk to Pollok Country Park if you want some green space, and getting into the city center is straightforward – either a quick bus ride or a pleasant walk if the weather’s cooperating. The area gets properly quiet at night, which I appreciated after some louder hotel experiences in the Merchant City area. The 8.2 rating makes sense to me because while everything is well-executed and the space is genuinely lovely, it doesn’t have some of those extra hotel services you might expect – but honestly, that’s part of the appeal. It’s more like having your own sophisticated Glasgow base than staying in a traditional hotel, and for many travelers, that’s actually preferable. Just be aware that parking can be a bit of a puzzle on these residential streets, though the host was helpful with local tips when I asked.

  What could be improved: Cleanliness of the property, it needs a good deep clean and some TLC. Looks great when you first walk in, but as you settle in you see the issues, there was even cooked food and a dirty grill pan left in the oven and instead of having a fitted sheet on the king bed it was a base valance so every time you moved it moved so not comfortable although the bed itself was.
  Such a shame but with a proper clean, fresh paint and repairs to some damaged areas the flat would be outstanding
  The lock on the door to the flat could do with upgrading

  الاقامة ممتازه ورائعة وتفوق الوصف قريبه من كل شيئ تبعد نصف ساعه مشيا عن السنتر ، وتبعد عن ايكيا مسافة 9 دقائق بالسيارة ، ومالكة الشقة انسانة راقيه ولطيفة جدا واخجلتنا بكرمها الفائق ، اضافة ان الشقة كانت نظيفة جدا ولا ينقصها شيئ حتى الشاي والسكر كان متوفر ، فعلا كانت اقامة ممتازة ورائعه فعلا ❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹🇰🇼❤️🌹

  الاستقبال الاستثنائي وكرم الضيافة وكانت السيدة مالكة الشقة جدا لطيفه وودودة وقدمت لنا المساعده عندما نحتاج وكانت دائمة السؤال وحريصه جدا بخصوص ارتياحنا بالاقامه ، نعم كانت اقامة ايتثنائية بدليل اننا مددنا اقامتنا ليومين آخرين فشكرا لها من القلب على كل ما قدمته ❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹🇰🇼🇰🇼🇰🇼🇰🇼
  
  What could be improved: كل شيئ جميل ورائع والشقة تقع في منطقة اسلامية حيث سكانها من الجالية الباكستانية والطعام في السوبرماركت والمطاعم حلال وتبعد عن السنتر مسافة نصف ساعه مشي بالأجواء الجميلة الرائعة كما انها قريبه من ايكيا يبعد مسافة 9 دقائق بالسيارة عن الشقة ، الشقة رائعة وانصح بها جدا جدا
