There’s this nice flow between the living area and kitchen that makes it feel like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than just crashing somewhere temporary. The whole setup works particularly well if you’re traveling with family or friends – everyone gets their own space, but you’re not cramped when you want to hang out together.

Location-wise, you’re perfectly positioned without being stuck in the touristy chaos of the city center. The harbour area has really come into its own over the past few years – there are some solid restaurants within walking distance, and you can actually stroll along the water without feeling like you’re dodging crowds every five minutes. Getting into central Glasgow is straightforward enough, though I’d recommend having a car (which, again, the free parking makes totally doable). The building itself is quiet – I was worried about noise from the surrounding development, but the double-glazing does its job. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward through their key system, no awkward lobby encounters or hunting down reception staff. With an 8.6 rating, it’s clearly hitting the mark for most people, and I can see why. It’s one of those places that just works – comfortable without being fancy, practical without feeling cheap, and in a spot that gives you options without overwhelming you.

  Lots of space, two bathrooms, large enough for family of four. Kitchen was well equipped. Location was good, comfortable stay.
  
  What could be improved: The instructions for the car park and collecting the key could have been simpler. The code from the car park to the apartment was incorrect. No instructions for recycling rubbish.
