The staff seems to actually know Glasgow beyond the tourist brochure stuff – they pointed me toward a fantastic pub that I never would have found on my own, tucked away on a side street near the Merchant City area. Check-in was smooth, no unnecessary upselling, and they were pretty flexible about late checkout when I asked. I mean, it’s not the cheapest option in the city, but for what you get – the space, the location, that whole apartment-style setup – it feels like decent value. The 8.3 rating makes sense to me; it’s solidly good without being flashy about it. If you’re the type who likes having your own space to spread out after a day of walking around the city, or if you’re staying more than just a night or two, this place really works. Just don’t expect a massive gym or pool – it’s more about giving you a comfortable base in a prime spot than trying to be a destination resort.
