Property Glasgow near city centre Overview
First Impressions
When I first pulled up to Property Glasgow near city centre, I’ll be honest — the name doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, but the location more than makes up for any branding quirks. This four-star spot sits on Braid Street in the North West area, and you know what struck me immediately? The fact that I could actually park without circling the block for twenty minutes. In a city like Glasgow where parking can be a nightmare, having free on-site parking feels like winning the lottery.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about this location — you’re close enough to the city centre that you can walk to most of the good stuff, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with the constant noise and chaos. The North West area has this sort of residential charm that a lot of travelers miss when they stick to the main tourist strips. I mean, you can stroll down to the River Clyde pretty easily, and getting to places like the West End or Merchant City is straightforward whether you’re driving or using public transport.
The Room Experience
My room was honestly better than I expected for the price point. Nothing fancy, but everything worked properly — which, let’s be real, is sometimes more than you can say for some places. The bed was comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling with the mattress all night. What really impressed me was how quiet it was; even though you’re in the city, the windows did a decent job of keeping the street noise to a minimum. The bathroom was clean and modern, though not huge — but honestly, how much time are you really spending in there anyway?
Practical Perks
The free parking thing really can’t be overstated if you’re driving into Glasgow. I’ve stayed at places where they charge you £15-20 a night just to park, so this alone probably saves you enough to cover a nice dinner out. The staff were helpful without being overly chatty — they knew their stuff about getting around the city and had good recommendations for places to eat nearby. Check-in was smooth, and they actually seemed to care about whether you had everything you needed.
Why Guests Love It
This place has clearly figured out what couples want — there’s something about the whole setup that just works for a romantic getaway or weekend trip. Maybe it’s the combination of being able to easily explore the city but then retreat somewhere that feels a bit more peaceful. The value is solid too; you’re getting four-star comfort without the four-star price tag that some of the more central hotels charge. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s going to do exactly what you need it to do, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want from a hotel stay.

Very Disappointing Stay – Misleading Listing and Poor Conditions
This was a very disappointing experience. First, we went to the address shown on Booking.com, but a few minutes later I was contacted by a girl who gave me a different address. When we arrived at the second location, she handed me the keys and left. I was told someone else was staying in another room, which was never mentioned in the Booking.com listing.
The condition of the apartment was unacceptable:
• The walls were mouldy
• The bathroom was very dirty
• The bathtub had clearly just been used, with hair still inside
• The bedding and pillows had a bad smell
I tried contacting Booking.com, and the customer service agent Alfie told me that the property would get in touch with me — but no one ever did. I also tried calling the number that sent me the new address, but no one answered.
This was a terrible experience. Do not be fooled — avoid this property at all costs.
