Sleek & Modern 2BR – Easy Access to City Centre Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name Sleek & Modern 2BR – Easy Access to City Centre, I was expecting one of those soulless corporate rental places that looks great in photos but feels like a hospital room in person. But you know what? This place on Craighall Road actually delivers on that promise, and I mean that in the best way possible.
The apartment sits in this quiet residential stretch that’s honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Glasgow rather than just visiting it. Craighall Road itself is one of those tree-lined streets where you’ll see locals walking their dogs in the morning, and there’s something really satisfying about having your own key to a proper front door instead of wrestling with hotel keycards. The “easy access to city centre” bit isn’t just marketing speak either – you’re looking at maybe a 15-minute walk down to the main shopping areas, or there’s a bus stop practically around the corner if the Scottish weather decides to remind you why umbrellas exist. I actually found myself walking more than I expected because the route takes you through some lovely older neighborhoods where you can peek at those classic Glasgow tenements and maybe grab coffee at one of the local spots that tourists don’t usually stumble across.
What struck me most was how the place manages to feel genuinely modern without being sterile, if that makes sense. The two bedrooms are properly sized (not those cramped spaces where you’re bumping into furniture), and whoever designed this place actually thought about how people live – there’s decent closet space, the kitchen has everything you’d need for proper meals, and the living area doesn’t feel like an afterthought. The whole setup works brilliantly if you’re traveling with family or friends who want their own space but also want to hang out together. Plus, and this might sound silly, but the WiFi is actually fast enough that you won’t spend your evenings cursing at loading screens. Parking can be a bit of a dance – it’s street parking, so you’ll want to read the signs carefully, but honestly that’s just Glasgow for you. The 4-star rating feels about right; it’s definitely a step up from your basic accommodations without any pretense of luxury. Sometimes you just want a place that works well and doesn’t try too hard, and this fits that bill perfectly.

Reviews of Sleek & Modern 2BR – Easy Access to City Centre
Comfortable and convenient – Geraldine from Australia – September 7, 2025 (8/10)
It was very clean and in a great location. They were very prompt and helpful when we had some small issues, very easy to contact.
What could be improved: It would be nice to have a few brochures about attractions/ restaurants close by.Excellent centrally located property, very comfortable beds – Jennifer from United Kingdom – April 8, 2025 (9/10)
Great location, easy to get to and access, good parking and great communication from the hosts. The beds were amazingly comfortable and I really liked the shower (good water pressure and very easy to operate / change temperature etc). Good selection of kitchen equipment
What could be improved: The sofa in the lounge – as with most sofa beds we have encountered in similar properties, it really doesn't work as a sofa as it's really uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time! So there was only one comfy chair in the lounge and my daughter and I tended to stay in our rooms while we were in the property (which wasn't much as we had a very busy weekend).
Also the fittings in the kitchen and bathroom weren't fitted very well – the side of the bath wasn't connected and one of the kitchen doors wasn't attached properly. I would have preferred sachets of normal coffee granules rather than coffee drink as I take my coffee black.
These are very minor issues though and overall we were very pleased with where we stayed.Wonderful – Anna from United Kingdom – June 21, 2025 (9/10)
The apartment is clean. Everything is conveniently located. Great.
What could be improved: very late check-in at 4pm, usually in other places you can check-in at 2pm. Some glasses were cracked in the kitchen, they are impossible to use.Exceptional – Alan from New Zealand – July 6, 2025 (10/10)
Apartment had everything and was ideal for 5 nights. Bus Corporation has altered the besr route from town which took a while to sort out. Not the hosts fault but a distraction from the apartment.
What could be improved: Changed bus routeExceptional – Martinasu from United Kingdom – May 20, 2025 (10/10)
The apartment was nice & clean, very well equipped and big plus is the car park. Great location with short distance to the city centre by bus. Very good communication with the host, was always available if something needed. I would recommend.
