Stunning 1 Bed Merchant City Apartment with Parking Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Stunning 1 Bed Merchant City Apartment with Parking, I rolled my eyes a bit. I mean, who calls their own place “stunning,” right? But after spending a few nights there, I actually get why they went with that description. The apartment sits right in the heart of Glasgow’s Merchant City, and you know what? It really does have that wow factor when you walk in.
The thing that immediately caught my attention was how they’ve managed to blend the old Victorian bones of the building with genuinely modern touches – not that fake-industrial stuff you see everywhere, but thoughtful updates that actually work. The bedroom gets this gorgeous morning light (though if you’re sensitive to street noise, you might want to bring earplugs since it faces one of the busier roads). What really sold me on the place, though, was stepping out the front door and realizing I could walk to the Gallery of Modern Art in about three minutes, and there’s this little coffee shop – I think it’s called Singl-end – just around the corner that does the best flat white I’ve had outside of Melbourne.
The parking situation is honestly a game-changer if you’re driving in Glasgow. I’ve stayed in plenty of city center spots where you end up circling blocks for twenty minutes looking for a space, then paying through the nose for some sketchy lot. Here, you’ve got your own spot, which might not sound like much until you’re hauling luggage through Scottish drizzle at 11 PM. The apartment itself feels more spacious than most hotel rooms you’d get for the price – there’s actually room to spread out your stuff, and the kitchen is properly equipped if you want to grab groceries from the Tesco Metro down the street instead of eating out every meal. The 7.3 rating seems about right to me; it’s not five-star luxury (the bathroom could use some updating, and the WiFi can be a bit patchy), but it’s got character and it’s in an absolutely perfect location for exploring the city. Plus, you’re literally surrounded by some of Glasgow’s best pubs and restaurants – I stumbled into this incredible whisky bar called The Pot Still that I never would have found if I’d been staying out in the suburbs.

Vey clear instructions for collecting the keys, provided with a code to show the shopkeeper around the corner, who promptly handed them over, return was by the same method.
Clean and tidy flat, bedding and towels provided, lovely shower, fully-equipped kitchen including cooker, hob, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and dishwasher, and plenty of crockery, glassware and cutlery.
Good view from the living/dining room over the large courtyard, with it's planting and unique sculpture. The room has good seating and a large TV for entertainment, and a table and chairs for dining or using as a desk.
A good-sized double bed and plenty of storage in the bedroom, both a fitted wardrobe and a very accommodating chest-of-drawers.
And what an excellent location! Just around the corner is a Tesco Express for your provisions, other outlets are similarly close. Within a couple of blocks you come to Merchant Square, a former market that now contains many eating and drinking establishments, and the surrounding streets provide even more choice. A short way further west brings you to George Square and you're in the middle of modern Glasgow.
Glasgow is a great place to visit, so much to see and do, keep your eyes open for large-scale murals all over the place, such as the Fellow Glasgow Residents Mural at the NCP car park on Ingram St, and this apartment is a great place to rest your feet after exploring.Rajkumar from Hong Kong (8/10)
Location is superb

It was a great location and was comfortable enough for us.
We actually got changed to a different apartment in the same area at the last minute which was fine, I do think to advertise the apartment as stunning is a stretch.
It's dog friendly aswell which is a plus for us.Roland from United Kingdom (8/10)

Excellent Location and Free parking was great, easy access to the city and public transport. Many excellent restaurants very close by, and also numerous grocery stores.
The flat could be really good with a few extra touches.Heather from New Zealand (4/10)

"Stunning" is doing a lot of work here. But the positives were the central location (if that's what you need), the parking space, the clear instructions from the host about how to get the keys and get in, and it's quite spacious for a one bedroom apartment.
