This place is essentially a proper house disguised as an apartment, and after staying here twice now, I can tell you it’s become my go-to when I need space to spread out without sacrificing location.

The thing that struck me immediately was how they’ve managed to squeeze five genuine bedrooms into what feels like a naturally flowing home rather than some cramped conversion. Each room actually has character – I mean, you’re not dealing with those depressing hotel-box situations where every space looks identical. The master bedroom has these lovely big windows that let in ridiculous amounts of morning light (fair warning if you’re not a morning person), while the smaller rooms toward the back are perfect for anyone who prefers things darker and quieter. What really sold me though was the kitchen situation – it’s properly equipped, not just the usual kettle-and-microwave setup. I actually cooked real meals here, which honestly saved me a fortune compared to eating out every night.

Location-wise, this is where the owners really know what they’re doing. You’re close enough to walk into town when you feel like it, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with the weekend chaos and noise. The SEC is genuinely just a short hop away – I timed it at about eight minutes in normal traffic when I went to a concert there. And that motorway access they mention? Actually brilliant if you’re planning day trips or need to get to the airport without the stress of navigating through busy streets. There’s decent parking too, which anyone who’s driven around city centers will appreciate. The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be luxury, but everything works properly and the place is spotlessly maintained. That 8.6 rating from other guests makes sense to me because while it ticks all the practical boxes brilliantly, it’s the little touches that make the difference. Things like actually good WiFi throughout the house, enough hot water for everyone, and – this might sound silly – but proper curtains that actually block light rather than those flimsy things you usually get. It’s the kind of place where you can genuinely relax rather than just crash for the night.

    The flat had everything you needed, large facilities to sit together to chill to eat.
