The living area is where the place really shines though – it’s spacious enough that you can have people reading, others watching TV, maybe someone on a work call, all without feeling cramped.

Being right in the city centre means you’re walking distance to pretty much everything that matters, but here’s the thing most places don’t tell you – it’s on a quieter street, so you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise or people stumbling around at 3 AM. I was honestly expecting more noise given the location, but the windows must be decent quality because I slept fine. The 8.8 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top luxury, it’s just really well done for what it is. Little touches like having enough towels for everyone (revolutionary concept, I know), decent water pressure, and reliable WiFi throughout make a bigger difference than you’d think. The only minor thing I’d mention is that check-in can be a bit different since it’s not a traditional hotel front desk situation, so just make sure you’re clear on the process beforehand. But honestly, once you’re settled in, you’ll probably find yourself wondering why more places aren’t set up this way – especially if you’re staying more than a night or two.

  Great location – near the subway which is so easy to get around. The house feels so homely and is spotless. We travelled as a group of 8 and couldn’t have asked for more than what the property offered! The hosts were so lovely and great communication. Towels for everyone, complimentary shampoo, conditioner & shower gel. The heating was easy to work as we travelled in December it was needed! It’s was a perfect long weekend stay – we will be returning and recommending to friends!
