The bathrooms are modern without being too fancy, and the water pressure is actually decent, which… well, you can’t always count on that in older Glasgow buildings.
What really makes this place work is the location – St Vincent Crescent puts you right in the heart of Finnieston, which has become one of those neighborhoods that locals love but tourists are just discovering. You’re a five-minute walk to the Hydro if you’re here for a concert, but more importantly, you’re surrounded by some of the city’s best restaurants and pubs. The Gannet is practically around the corner (their haggis is worth the trip alone), and you can easily walk to Ashton Lane or down to the riverside. Parking can be a bit of a dance – it’s permit zones during the day, but evenings and weekends are free if you can find a spot. The 4-star rating feels about right; it’s comfortable and well-maintained without being fancy, and that 7/10 rating makes sense too – it does what it promises really well, but don’t expect luxury touches. Check-in was smooth, though the entry system took me a couple tries to figure out. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel, and you want to be in the thick of Glasgow’s food scene without paying West End hotel prices, this duplex is actually a pretty smart choice.

Dade was extremely helpful from the very beginning. He guided us on where to find the keys on arrival, and check-in was smooth and right on time. The house itself was spotless and beautifully clean. Shortly after we arrived, Dade checked in with us to make sure everything had gone well, which we really appreciated.
Any ad-hoc requests we had were handled quickly—he replied to all our messages and calls almost instantly. He also shared great local recommendations for places to eat, which made our stay even better.
Location was central but also quiet especially for us with a family.
Honestly, in all my Airbnb experiences, this felt like five-star-plus treatment. The house, the cleanliness, and Dade’s attentiveness made it feel like a true home away from home. I would absolutely stay here again and again, and I’ll be recommending it to all my friends and family. Everything was just perfect.

Beautifully appointed. Very quiet and peaceful. The flat is very well positioned with some excellent facilities nearby.

What could be improved: The apartment was a disaster, very dirty, the sheets were not clean, the dishwasher had dirty dishes in it, I have pictures of the sheets and dishes upon arrival, also the bathroom and toilet were dirty, the apartment was on the first floor and the basement, there is no ventilation in the basement, most of the rooms are in the basement, so the smell is bad in the rooms, in addition to the mosquitoes and bites that we got from the uncleanliness of the place.
