Vogue Apartments Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Vogue Apartments on Campbell Street, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The building sits in this quiet residential stretch of Glasgow‘s West End, and from the outside, it looks almost understated in that effortless Scottish way. But you know what? That’s exactly what makes this place work so well.
The moment you step inside, you realize this isn’t your typical hotel setup at all. These are proper apartments – I mean, we’re talking full kitchens, separate living areas, the works. My place had these gorgeous high ceilings that you get in these Victorian conversions, and honestly, the attention to detail was impressive without being showy about it. The decor strikes this perfect balance between modern comfort and respecting the building’s character, which can be tricky to pull off. What really got me was how quiet it was – Campbell Street doesn’t get much through traffic, so you actually get a proper night’s sleep (something that’s surprisingly rare when you’re staying right in the city). The kitchen was fully kitted out too, which saved me a fortune since Glasgow’s restaurant scene, while fantastic, can definitely add up if you’re eating out every meal.
Location-wise, you’re basically in the sweet spot of the West End without being right in the chaos of Byres Road or the university crowds. It’s maybe a ten-minute walk to get into the thick of things, but far enough away that you feel like you’re staying somewhere locals actually live. The Subway’s close enough if you want to zip into the city center, and there’s this excellent little bakery just around the corner that does proper Scottish morning rolls – the kind of local gem you stumble across when you’re staying in a residential area rather than some touristy hotel district. I found myself popping down to the nearby Tesco for groceries and actually cooking some evenings, which felt surprisingly normal and relaxing after days of sightseeing. The whole experience reminded me why having your own space matters, especially if you’re staying for more than just a quick weekend. Sure, there’s no concierge desk or fancy lobby to impress your Instagram followers, but what you get instead is something that feels more authentic – like you’re actually living in Glasgow for a bit rather than just passing through.
To book hotel in Glasgow during the famous Edinburgh Festival season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts music lovers and culture enthusiasts from around the world.

Spacious, well equipped, clean and in a decent location with parking.
What could be improved: The lock on the front door to the building was tricky to open!Exceptional stay ! – Yousuf from Oman – July 11, 2025 (8/10)
The apartment was very cozy and clean. All the necessary equipment was available, such as fans, cookware, plates, tea, and coffee. The host also kindly provided us with complimentary cookies and water, which was a lovely gesture. We were also able to access Gulf channels on the TV which was great:) !
What could be improved: The apartment is meant for 4 people, but the beds were too small and not enough for everyone. No extra blankets were provided, so it would have been better if more had been available.Excellent value for money in a convenient location – Iain from United Kingdom – April 28, 2025 (10/10)

Clean, modern and cosy. Milk, water and biscuits were very welcome touch. On street parking was easy. Rail station not too far away.
