Actually, it feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place, if that friend happened to have impeccable taste and knew exactly what travelers need.

I can totally see why couples rate this place so highly for romantic getaways. There’s something intimate about the whole setup that just works for two people wanting to explore Glasgow together. The space gives you room to spread out and plan your days, but it’s also cozy enough that you’ll actually want to spend time there together in the evenings. Plus, having that reliable parking means you can easily venture out to the Highlands for day trips or explore different parts of the city without worrying about where to leave the car when you get back.

  What could be improved: No freezer compartment in small fridge. Air fryer would have been nice. Oven tray was slightly greasy, some of the plates were chipped/cracked had to wash all the cutlery and the cutlery tray underneath had to be washed, hoover had to be emptied as did the iron, marks on the rug nearest the kitchen and mark on the sofa, had to wipe down marks on some of the walls and toilet tissue left in the toilet bowl in small toilet, other than that, our stay was perfect. Took photos to verify.

  The house was lovely, well furnished and well equipped.
  Being super critical, there isn't a freezer or even a small freezer box in the fridge, which was a shame as it was glorious weather when we came and we wanted ice.
