I mean, you can walk to the Balmaha Visitor Centre in about two minutes, and there’s this lovely little pier where you can catch boats to Inchmurrin Island if you’re feeling adventurous.

The Accommodation

The room itself feels like staying in someone’s well-loved family retreat rather than a typical hotel. Everything’s been thoughtfully updated while keeping that cozy cottage character — think exposed beams and stone walls, but with modern heating that actually works (trust me, this matters in Scotland).
