Modern 2 bed BroomPark/Central apt. with Parking Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Modern 2 bed BroomPark/Central apt. with Parking, I wasn’t expecting much. You know how these Airbnb-style places can be hit or miss with their awkward names? But this place on Broompark Circus actually surprised me in the best way. The moment I walked into the flat, it was clear someone had put real thought into making this feel like a proper home rather than just another rental property. The two bedrooms are genuinely spacious – not those cramped boxes you sometimes get – and honestly, the whole place has this clean, contemporary vibe without feeling sterile or showroom-perfect.

What really won me over was the location, though. Broompark Circus sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to Glasgow‘s action but far enough out that you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise or drunk folks stumbling past your window at 2 AM. I mean, you can still hear the city humming in the background, but it’s more of a gentle reminder than an assault on your senses. The parking situation – and let’s be real, this is huge for Glasgow – is actually sorted, which saved me probably £15-20 a day compared to what I’d have spent on city center parking or those nightmare multi-stories. Plus, getting into the city center takes maybe 15-20 minutes on a good day, and there’s decent bus connections if you don’t fancy driving through Glasgow’s somewhat… creative traffic patterns.

The apartment itself feels lived-in but well-maintained, if that makes sense. The kitchen‘s got everything you’d actually need to cook a proper meal (not just a kettle and a prayer), and I particularly appreciated that someone had clearly thought about the small stuff – decent shower pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, and WiFi that doesn’t cut out every time someone walks past the router. I stayed for four nights and honestly felt settled by the second day, which doesn’t always happen with short-term rentals. The 8.2 rating makes perfect sense to me – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any nasty surprises. For families or groups of friends who want a proper base in Glasgow without paying hotel prices for tiny rooms, this place hits that sweet spot between comfort, location, and value that’s getting harder to find these days.

To book a hotel in Glasgow during major cultural festivals, travelers need early planning as this vibrant Scottish city draws visitors eager to experience its Victorian heritage and modern artistic scene.

Reviews of Modern 2 bed BroomPark/Central apt. with Parking

  • Wonderful – Precious from United Kingdom – July 2, 2025 (9/10)

    The apartment is cool

  • Good – Deidre from Australia – April 19, 2025 (7/10)

Lovely quiet location. Easy walk into the centre of Glasgow.

What could be improved: Had trouble with the shower in the ensuite. Host initially answered our message but when we said it still wasn't working, we got no response. Luckily there was another bathroom so that could have a shower.

  • Very nice, convenient for Parkhead, I shall enquire to stay again when on the mainland for football. – Tony from United Kingdom – February 25, 2025 (7/10)

Very nice apartment less than 30 mins walk from Parkhead, my destination for the weekend. Warm and very comfortable. Tea, coffee and biccies laid on for my arrival.

What could be improved: The light and fan had popped in the hall loo, and it took a bit of detective work to track down the breaker box as it was inside a cupboard in the otherwise dark loo. There were bikes chained to the staircase on the ground floor (picture) obstructing access a bit, I'm pretty sure the freeholder wouldn't allow that. Not a fault of the property, though. As others have reported it was a bit of an adventure contacting the property co-ordinator, and I didn't know whether I was going to be able to get in, the night of the storm at the end of January 2025.

  • Unfortunately could not recommend – Rita from Australia – September 18, 2024 (7/10)

The friendliest care taker, her name is Trish…..she made it as far as l’m concerned.
The bed was comfy. Having free off street parking, safe and secure. Quiet neighbourhood. Walk into Glasgow, only 25 mins, so left car behind.

What could be improved: The apartment was tired, needs a makeover. Couldn’t believe that there were no basic condiments like oil, salt and pepper. Sugar container was empty. Just felt like the care factor not present. Front door lock, was so loose, we were afraid it was going to break apart. Had a difficult time getting in, we were given the wrong code. That delayed the process by 20 mins, not a good start.

  • Good – Nishita from India – August 15, 2025 (7/10)

What could be improved: Wifi connectivity is poor

  • Comfortable place for a short stay in Glasgow – Stanislav from Bulgaria – July 11, 2025 (7/10)

Quiet area and it takes ~25 min on foot to the city centre. Overall it's a comfortable place for a short stay in Glasgow. We were an hour earlier, but despite that, we were allowed to leave our suitcases and go to the city.

What could be improved: I'm giving it 7.5/10, mainly because of the coffee stains on the wall in the living room and the overall very slow Wi-Fi, which I need for some work-related activities.

  • Sufficient and comfortable for a short stay in the city. – Paula from South Africa – April 8, 2025 (8/10)

Had all the necessary amenities for a short stay.

What could be improved: Smelled of stale cigarettes
Washing machine had old stale water lodged in the drum – couldn’t use it

  • Comfortable flat but unresponsive host – Christian from Netherlands – August 21, 2024 (7/10)

The apartment is comfortable. Enough space and good beds. Good tv as well.

What could be improved: The owner does not give you any information or answer any questions until even after check-in time. We thought we had to find another hotel by then. You can walk to the train station but not with a wheel chair which we did not know. There is a huge hill. Also, there is no lift at that train station, unfortunately. Had to carry the chair down the stairs

  • Very Good – Gail from United Kingdom – November 28, 2023 (8/10)

Great location for us. Warm and comfortable.

  • It was an alright stay for a couple nights but the host could be more responsive and friendly. – Tanya from United Kingdom – August 8, 2025 (7/10)

It was a beautiful and prime location to shops as well as the Bellgrove station.

What could be improved: The host did not reply to my early check in request and only after a text message and a couple calls he answered saying he would get back to me, which he didn’t. He only sent me the check in information 20 minutes before the arrival time. This should have been provided the day before or atleast on the morning of check in.
The property was mostly clean but the kitchen could be cleaned and maintained better.
