The living area has enough space to spread out, which matters when you’re traveling with family or friends and everyone needs their own corner for a bit.

Location-wise, you’re in G5, which puts you south of the river but still properly connected to everything. I walked to the city center a few times – takes about 15-20 minutes depending on your pace, or you can hop on public transport pretty easily. There’s something nice about being just far enough from the main tourist drag that you get a feel for how people actually live here, but close enough that you’re not spending half your day getting places. The neighborhood has that lived-in Glasgow character without being rough around the edges, if that makes sense. I grabbed groceries at the local shops, had a pint at a proper local pub (not one filled with tourists taking photos of everything), and generally felt like I was staying somewhere real rather than in some sanitized bubble. The 8.2 rating seems about right – it’s solidly good without being fancy, which is exactly what you want when you’re looking for a base to explore from rather than a place to hide away in luxury.

  There is nothing to dislike about this apartment, great space great rooms, great location, been staying in glasgow last 13 months, 2 x month and will say this is one of the best places we have stayed in.
