I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Perfect In The Park, I rolled my eyes a little. I mean, come on, right? But you know what? After spending a few nights here, I actually think they might be onto something with that name. This 4-star spot has this incredible ability to make you feel like you’ve found some kind of secret hideaway, even though you’re staying at a proper hotel with all the amenities you’d expect.

What really struck me about this place is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between feeling boutique and actually being functional. The common areas have this lived-in elegance – not the kind of sterile perfection you see in some hotels where you’re afraid to touch anything. I spent way more time than planned just hanging out in their lounge area with a coffee, watching other guests come and go. The staff here actually remember your name after the first day, which honestly surprised me. There’s this one front desk manager who somehow knew I preferred my morning coffee black without me even mentioning it the second time around. Small thing, but it matters when you’re traveling a lot.

The rooms themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully designed rather than flashy. Everything works exactly how you’d want it to – the shower pressure is fantastic (trust me, this matters more than thread count), the lighting actually makes sense for both working and relaxing, and they’ve got these blackout curtains that are a game-changer if you’re trying to recover from jet lag. I also appreciated that the air conditioning wasn’t one of those ancient units that sounds like a helicopter landing. You can actually sleep with it running, which might seem basic but you’d be surprised how many places get this wrong. The 9.6 rating makes total sense once you’re here – it’s not about having gold-plated everything, it’s about getting all the fundamentals right and then adding some genuine warmth on top of it. I’ve definitely stayed at places that cost twice as much and delivered half the experience.

  Our host Mark was exceptionally proactive and always available. Apartment was very well maintained and was very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked up with all basic requirements, which was a pleasant surprise to us. WIFI was good. Netflix was operational on the TV.

  The flat was absolutely gorgeous, a really special place to spend the weekend, brilliantly located with stunning views of Kelvingrove Park. Good sized rooms and the under floor heating in the en suite was a nice surprise! Very easy to pick up/leave keys and communication with the host was great.

  Great location next to Kelvingrove and the University. Plenty of living space, quiet bedrooms with en suite bathrooms each. Basic groceries and fresh bread in the kitchen gave a good start after a tiring car ride.

  The apartment is beautiful & very comfortable. Good beds, good pillows, lots of extras: French music CDs, heated bathroom floors, a fridge stocked with breakfast items & a great selection of coffees. The high ceilings and big windows overlooking the park are lovely. The apartment is located in walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants & to the University of Glasgow.

  This property is absolutely stunning. It is very tastefully decorated and no detail is missed.
  It is also located in one of the best areas in Glasgow on the edge of Kelvingrove Park but
  within easy reach of the centre or the popular area of Byres Rd.
  I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to feel special when they visit. We certainly did!
  The owners also had nice touches like provision of essentials in the fridge, a nice basket of fruit and were periodically checking that everything was OK.
